Customer Service & Self Storage Manager

About the Role

Work independently at multiple storage locations, managing operations, customer service, and team performance for Public Storage.

What You'll Do

• Assess customer storage needs and suggest solutions, including selling packing and moving supplies
• Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits
• Make reminder and collection calls to keep customers current with payments
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift/move items weighing up to 35 lbs
• Comfortable walking in/around facilities; up to 50% time outdoors, including climbing stairs and opening large doors
• Perform cleaning and daily maintenance: sweeping/mopping interiors, maintaining exterior grounds

What We're Looking For

• Experience in customer service-centered sales (retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service environments)
• Valid driver's license required; must use personal vehicle to travel between locations (mileage reimbursement available)
