Certified Surgical Technician, Day Shift, Full Time

About the role

Adventist Health Glendale, nestled between Burbank and Pasadena, is one of the area's leading healthcare providers — a 515-bed hospital serving the San Fernando Valley. This role assists the surgical team in preparing for procedures in the operating room, creating and maintaining a sterile field and passing instruments and supplies to surgeons during cases.

What you'll do

• Prepare for each surgical case by checking required supplies and equipment
• Set up operative instrumentation and sterile field for expedient use
• Complete instrument, sponge, needle, and blade counts with the RN
• Transport patients according to unit schedules and priorities

Requirements

• High School Education/GED or equivalent required
• Associate's/Technical Degree, scrub technician experience, and OR experience preferred
• Surgery Technician certification preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required

Day Shift, Full Time.
