About the role

Per Diem Certified Nurse Midwife at Kaiser Permanente Panorama City. Works day shifts under the supervision of an Ob-Gyn Physician.

What you'll do

• Manage medical care of patients throughout the full maternity cycle (antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological)
• Provide standard maternity care and counseling following ambulatory care and inpatient protocols
• Perform physical examinations and order/interpret diagnostic tests
• Provide patient education and counseling
• Document care in accordance with KP standards

Requirements

Current California CNM license; compliance with State of California Nurse Practice Act and Southern California Permanente Medical Group protocols.
