Auto Glass Technician

About the Role

Auto Glass Technicians for Glass America (Burbank, CA) replace broken or pitted windshields and window glass in motor vehicles. Sign-on bonus available for experienced technicians.

What You'll Do

• Install auto glass and other auto glass products in-shop or on a mobile basis, using proper tools and techniques
• Ensure required paperwork is completed and turned in to the appropriate person or location
• Maintain a safe and acceptable driving record
• May perform auto glass repairs as needed; load glass in the truck as needed
• Follow up with the Glass Manager on any installation problems; report accidents/incidents immediately
• Maintain high levels of quality control and customer service
• Ensure all needed equipment is operating properly

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; 4-6 years of related work experience required
• Valid driver's license; must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to stand for long periods, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift up to 50 pounds
• Mechanical aptitude and skill operating hand and power tools

Pay & Benefits

• $21–$30/hr, plus sign-on bonus for experienced technicians
