About the Role

The Associate HRBP sits at the intersection of HR operations and business partnership, reporting to the VP of People Experience.
What You'll Do
- Support HRBP and L&D on performance cycles, engagement surveys, and other People programs
- Help plan culture moments, recognition programs, and ERG initiatives
- Own employee lifecycle components: onboarding, offboarding, and employee data changes
- Maintain employee data integrity in Workday; build and run reports for HR leadership
- Partner with Payroll and Finance on compensation changes and benefit deductions
- Partner with Legal on employment letters, policy documents, and onboarding materials
- Serve as a go-to resource for employees on HR policy, programs, and process questions
- Audit HR practices for compliance with federal, California, and local employment law
- Document and automate HR workflows; facilitate exit interviews
Requirements
- 2-3 years in HR, People Operations, or HR Administration
- Direct experience in Workday (or comparable HRIS like Rippling or BambooHR)
- Familiarity with AI tools and willingness to integrate them into HR workflows
- Experience with onboarding, payroll coordination, and HR documentation
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgment handling confidential information
- Nice to have: PHR, SHRM-CP, or California HR certification

$80,000–$95,000/year
