Associate HRBP

About the Role

Cast & Crew is an entertainment technology and services provider — home to Backstage, CAPS, Checks & Balances, Final Draft, Media Services, Sargent-Disc, and The TEAM Companies. The Associate HRBP sits at the intersection of HR operations and business partnership, reporting to the VP of People Experience.

What You'll Do

• Support HRBP and L&D on performance cycles, engagement surveys, and other People programs
• Help plan culture moments, recognition programs, and ERG initiatives
• Own employee lifecycle components: onboarding, offboarding, and employee data changes
• Maintain employee data integrity in Workday; build and run reports for HR leadership
• Partner with Payroll and Finance on compensation changes and benefit deductions
• Partner with Legal on employment letters, policy documents, and onboarding materials
• Serve as a go-to resource for employees on HR policy, programs, and process questions
• Audit HR practices for compliance with federal, California, and local employment law
• Document and automate HR workflows; facilitate exit interviews

Requirements

• 2-3 years in HR, People Operations, or HR Administration
• Direct experience in Workday (or comparable HRIS like Rippling or BambooHR)
• Familiarity with AI tools and willingness to integrate them into HR workflows
• Experience with onboarding, payroll coordination, and HR documentation
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment handling confidential information
• Nice to have: PHR, SHRM-CP, or California HR certification

Pay

$80,000–$95,000/year
