About the role
Disney Consumer Products (DCP) brings Disney's iconic stories and characters to life through innovative partnerships with best-in-class brands. The Licensing Analytics team applies quantitative techniques to discover insights about Disney's licensing partners, retailers and consumers, working directly with the decision-makers who shape the Disney Consumer Products experience. This role sits in Glendale, CA and reports to the Sr Manager, Business Analytics and Insights.
What you'll do
- Support Retail & Marketing leaders by identifying opportunities, pitching partners, forecasting sales, and measuring strategy effectiveness
- Navigate limited/inconsistent data availability, identifying appropriate external data sources and reconciling data sets
- Partner with data scientists and technologists to link data assets to analytical techniques
- Build dashboards and intelligence tools that make commercial performance metrics easy to interpret
- Collaborate across teams to consolidate findings and recommendations, benchmark industry data, and build decks for senior executive forums
- Groom a backlog of data-discovery requests and stay flexible with changing business needs
Requirements
- Service-oriented, quick-learning problem solver and strong teammate
- Experience compiling, validating, and translating relevant data from multiple sources
- Strong analytical skills
Pay & benefits
$79,400-$106,400/year. Full-time, on-site in Glendale.
