Adjunct Physician Assistant Faculty — Pharmacology

About the Role

Adjunct faculty position teaching Pharmacology at West Coast University's North Hollywood campus (PA program).

Schedule: Pharmacology runs 8:30– 11:10 AM every Tuesday

What You'll Do

• Provide professional leadership as an educator, role model, mentor, and facilitator
• Create an educational environment that fosters innovation, responsiveness, and accountability
• Contribute to improvement of class materials and syllabi
• Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies to facilitate student learning outcomes
• Assist with assessment and evaluation of overall curriculum

Requirements

• 0–4 years of teaching in a university or college; or previous rank of assistant professor at a regionally accredited institution
• Teaching experience in Physician Assistant or Pharmacology courses strongly preferred
• Documented 3 years of experience as a practicing clinician
• Master's degree required; doctorate preferred
• For non-PA scientists: minimum 3 years of full-time experience in higher education or curriculum development
