About the Role
Ensure timely and accurate awarding and disbursement of student financial aid funds at West Coast University's North Hollywood campus.
What You'll Do
- Perform federal verification of financial aid files for students selected by the Department of Education or the institution
- Review and evaluate financial aid files for conflicting or discrepant data
- Confirm eligibility by reviewing ISIR, cost of attendance, need analysis, enrollment levels, program data, and Dept. of Education information
- Add, cancel, or adjust aid funds as appropriate in the Student Information System
- Review awards flagged as potential variance or discrepancy and resolve them
- Communicate with campus or functional teams to resolve issues per departmental policy
- Monitor personal activity queue in the Student Information System; complete required tasks in a timely manner
- Follow up on self-assigned reminders or activities to ensure timely resolution
Requirements
- Experience in financial aid administration and federal verification processes
- Proficiency with Student Information Systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments
