About this role
As Vision Center Manager at Walmart's Porter Ranch location, you will lead the Vision Center team, drive sales, and ensure customers receive quality eyewear and excellent service.
What you'll do
- Drive sales through effective merchandise presentation, pricing, and inventory management
- Guide and develop Associates on customer service standards
- Provide quality eyewear consultations: select products, obtain measurements, verify prescriptions, perform minor frame repairs
- Hire, train, and mentor Vision Center Associates
- Ensure compliance with company and legal policies
Requirements
- 2+ years of college; OR 1 year retail + 1 year supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience including 1 year optical
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician (CA)
Pay & benefits
- Pay: $30.00–$40.00/hr
