About the Role
Five Below is hiring a Support Lead to help drive store performance, train and supervise crew members, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Acts as Manager on Duty when needed.
Responsibilities
- Ensure crew members deliver outstanding customer service; train on the B.E.S.T. customer experience
- Oversee daily associate activities; support onboarding and training
- Act as Manager on Duty: full responsibility for store operations, staff, and customer service
- Manage store opening and closing procedures (cash security, alarms, locks)
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock
- Drive store sales and control expenses; support merchandising procedures
- Perform store maintenance (cleaning, stock room)
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and maintain composure under pressure
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Flexible schedule (days, evenings, weekends; may include overnight shifts)
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs; climb ladders; stand 80% of shift
