Stylist

Overview

Ulta Beauty is hiring a part-time Stylist to join the in-store salon. This role is ideal for a licensed cosmetologist who is passionate about hair services, guest relationships, and retail sales in a dynamic beauty environment.

What You'll Do

• Perform professional hair services including cuts, color, blowouts, and styling
• Conduct thorough guest consultations to understand hair goals and preferences
• Recommend and sell hair care retail products to complement services
• Build and maintain a loyal client base through exceptional service
• Meet individual service and retail sales goals
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional salon station
• Stay current on hair trends and Ulta Beauty's service offerings

Requirements

• Current cosmetology license required
• Prior salon experience preferred
• Strong technical hair skills and guest communication abilities
• Comfortable working a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Sales-driven with a passion for the beauty industry

Compensation

• $18.00/hr (base; additional tips may apply)
