At The Walt Disney Studios, our people are at the heart of the stories that inspire audiences around the world. As a Workforce Planning Graduate Intern , you will join a team that supports our creative and business leaders through data-driven workforce insights and planning.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in workforce planning, HR analytics, and data governance within one of the world's most iconic entertainment companies. You will work with large datasets, contribute to reporting and planning initiatives, and help maintain the integrity of workforce data that supports strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical, and curious individual who is eager to learn about both people and data.
The internship runs from September 2026 through May 2027 . If selected for this role, you will report directly to the Sr. Workforce Analyst.
What You Will Do
Manage large-scale data update requests and ensure timely execution of data maintenance activities.
Partner with Human Resources teams to support data governance practices and promote understanding of data stewardship responsibilities.
Assist with workforce planning, reporting, and analysis activities that support strategic talent decisions.
Complete recurring and ad hoc assignments that build foundational knowledge of workforce planning and HR analytics.
Prepare PowerPoint presentations, reports, and visual summaries for stakeholders and leadership audiences.
Support process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency and data accuracy.
Utilize AI-powered tools to streamline research, analyze information, and support presentation development.
Required Qualifications
Experience working with large datasets and performing data management activities.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot) to enhance research, summarize information, and support content creation.
Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, capable of quickly producing summary tables, pivot tables, X lookup/index f unctions , and visualization(s) with various types of data .
Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Human Resources processes, systems, and data management practices.
Exposure to data visualization or reporting tools is a plus.
Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, PowerBI/Power Query
Education
Currently pursuing a Master's degree program in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information:
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
The approximate dates of this internship are September 2026 through May 2027.
Fully available to work onsite 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday). Fridays are remote with flexibility to work onsite as needed.
