Store Environmental Team Member

Overview

Michaels is looking for a Store Environmental Team Member to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment. This part-time role (janitorial/maintenance) is essential to the store's day-to-day operations.

What You'll Do

• Clean and maintain all areas of the store including sales floor, restrooms, break rooms, and stockroom
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the day
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum as needed
• Maintain cleaning supply inventory and restock as necessary
• Report maintenance or safety issues to store management
• Assist with spill cleanup and general housekeeping tasks

Requirements

• Prior janitorial, cleaning, or facilities experience preferred
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Comfortable with physical tasks: lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Compensation

• $20.00–$23.20/hr
