About the Role
The STEAM Program Coordinator supports STEAM student success programming, workshops, outreach events, and operational activities across campus and community locations, advancing the Global HSI Equity Innovation Hub's mission of equitable access to innovation and career readiness.
What You'll Do
- Coordinates STEAM programming at campus locations (ATEC building, Next Gen Student Success Center) and off-campus sites (K-12 schools, community organizations)
- Provides operational support for workshops, outreach activations, parent/family engagement sessions, and community events
- Supports the BetaCulture Innovators peer mentor team across classrooms, innovation labs, and outreach events
- Facilitates partnerships with campus departments, K-16 partners, and industry collaborators
- Supports data collection and analyzes program participation and engagement metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a job-related field
- Three years of full-time, progressively responsible technical, analytical, or administrative experience (additional experience may substitute for up to two years of education)
Preferred
- Experience coordinating educational, outreach, or student success programming
- Background in K-12, higher education, youth development, or community outreach
- Bilingual proficiency
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hrs/week, Monday-Friday; evenings/weekends as needed
Pay & Benefits
- $5,274-$7,684/mo (anticipated hiring range $5,274-$6,303, based on qualifications)
