Staff Data Architect

About the Role

WBD's Enterprise Data & Analytics Group is adding a Staff Data Architect to design robust enterprise data architectures supporting the company's cloud data platform modernization — enabling a next-generation enterprise AI ecosystem capable of autonomous reasoning, beyond basic chat interfaces and analytics workloads.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement the Context Layer across data products
• Architect, build, and scale the Medallion data pipeline (Bronze-to-Silver-to-Gold) using Snowflake Dynamic Tables, Streams, and Tasks
• Build canonical models and consolidated entity tables (e.g., Unified Customer Identity, Orders) from mismatched raw source schemas
• Design native Snowflake Semantic Views establishing authoritative business definitions of entities, dimensions, and metrics
• Configure Snowflake Cortex Analyst and Cortex Search for high-accuracy AI grounding
• Enforce data governance, security, and quality guardrails via Snowflake Horizon
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data strategies and roadmaps

Requirements

Deep experience designing enterprise data architectures; hands-on Snowflake/cloud data platform expertise; strong collaboration skills across research, engineering, and product teams.
