About the Role
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is hiring a Sr. Principal Flight Test Engineer to lead system-level flight testing and verification for the AARGM-ER missile program in Northridge, CA. 100% on-site; active Secret clearance required to start.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain flight-test plans, procedures, and reports
- Author test reports documenting results and certification status
- Coordinate flight-test activities, range logistics, and data analysis
- Travel to test ranges/launch sites; conduct pre/post-flight briefings and anomaly detection
- Operate flight-test equipment (telemetry, data loggers, RF analyzers) and analyze data in MATLAB/LabVIEW/Excel
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in STEM + 8 years experience, or Master's + 6 years
- Flight-test engineering experience on missile or aerospace systems
- Active US Government Secret clearance
