Social Worker

About the role

As a Social Worker at DaVita, you'll be a vital member of each patient's core care team at the Glendale, CA dialysis facility. Life on dialysis can be a difficult transition for many patients, and you'll support and advocate for them — helping patients understand their rights and responsibilities, and guiding them in managing the physical, mental, emotional and financial demands of End Stage Renal Disease.

Requirements

• Meets all state required regulations to practice in the dialysis setting.
• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required, with a specialization in clinical practice.
• Demonstrated knowledge of government and private insurance programs.
• Basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, with functional proficiency in DaVita-specific applications within 60 days.

Pay & benefits

Salary range: $78,000–$123,000/yr. DaVita offers medical, dental, vision, 401k match, paid time off, paid training, family resources, EAP counseling, backup child/elder care, parental leave, and pet insurance.
