Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing — Technology

About the role

The Enterprise Sourcing team at Disney supports sourcing and procurement needs across corporate functions. The Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing – Technology leads a team developing and executing sourcing strategies for key technology categories, based in Burbank, CA.

What you'll do

• Develop and manage technology category strategies delivering savings, value, and risk mitigation
• Lead complex sourcing engagements from intake through contract award, including supplier assessment, competitive bidding, negotiations, contracting, and supplier management
• Use market intelligence and spend data to evaluate supplier markets and inform sourcing strategies
• Build relationships with Technology, Finance, and business stakeholders to advance procurement initiatives
• Provide leadership and performance management for the Technology Sourcing team (3+ direct reports)
• Manage strategic supplier relationships and prepare rigorous cost and financial analyses

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in sourcing, procurement, or category management
• 5–7+ years leadership experience in strategic sourcing or procurement
• 3–5+ years technology category management experience (SaaS, hardware, cloud, AI tools, IT services, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of category management frameworks and procurement best practices
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, finance, technology, or business; MBA preferred

Pay & benefits

$168,200–$205,400/year (Burbank). Bonus and long-term incentive units may be provided. Full medical, financial, and other benefits.
