Senior FPGA Engineer, LEO Payload

About the role

Senior FPGA Engineer on Amazon's LEO (low Earth orbit satellite broadband) program. You will design, implement, and release FPGA-based solutions for LEO's satellite communication system.

Export Control: Candidates must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or lawfully admitted refugees/asylees.

What you'll do

• Own one or more FPGA bitstreams from uArchitecture through Silicon Validation
• Collaborate with system architects to define and implement networking functions in FPGA
• Work across HW, FW, and SW teams on system bring-up and test
• Implement digital logic functions for satellite communication

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of FPGA design experience
• Proficiency in RTL design languages (VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog)
• Experience with FPGA synthesis and implementation flows

Preferred

• High-speed digital communications interface experience
• Networking protocol familiarity
• Satellite or aerospace program background
