Senior Analyst, Content Valuation and Analytics

Disney Entertainment Television (DETV) is seeking a Senior Analyst, Content Valuation to prepare valuations and deliver critical analytic insights for all DETV content. This position is based in Burbank, CA.

Job Summary

The Senior Analyst will provide analytical support for strategic ad-hoc initiatives and own delivery of quarterly content valuations. The successful candidate needs to be comfortable working with large data sets and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Disney+ valuations for TV content worldwide, identify variance drivers, and distill results into actionable insights
• Prepare valuations for TV content domestically across media platforms
• Curate and synthesize large data sets to draw conclusions and make recommendations
• Review and provide recommendations to refine existing structures and streamline processes
• Assist in preparing ad-hoc analyses to support key stakeholder objectives
• Interpret and identify main takeaways from legal documents to support content valuations
• Partner with finance stakeholders to identify and improve process efficiencies

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS in business, mathematics, economics, or quantitative discipline
• 2+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis or related business field
• Experience working with large data sets and analytical tools
• Strong project management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) with strong financial modelling skills (pivot tables, INDEX/MATCH, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Nested IF)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or similar data tools
• Media and entertainment industry knowledge

Salary Range

$95,500–$128,000/year plus comprehensive benefits.
