We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our team in Burbank, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in individual and business tax preparation, advanced tax research skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service. Responsibilities: -Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, S corporations, trusts, and estates. -Ensure timely and accurate tax filings in compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations. -Conduct tax research and provide guidance on tax planning strategies and compliance matters. -Analyze financial records and supporting documentation to identify tax-saving opportunities. -Respond to IRS and state tax notices and assist clients with audits and examinations. -Stay current on federal, state, and local tax law changes and communicate relevant updates to clients and team members. -Review work prepared by junior staff and provide mentorship and training. -Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and exceptional service. -Assist with year-round tax planning and advisory services. Qualifications: -Master's Degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. -CPA license (or actively pursuing CPA certification). -Minimum of 5 years of professional tax preparation experience. -Strong knowledge of federal and California tax laws and regulations. -Experience preparing and reviewing complex individual and business tax returns. -Proficiency with professional tax preparation software and Microsoft Office applications. -Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. -Strong written and verbal communication abilities. -Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. -Experience with multi-state tax returns.
