Seasonal Fragrance Sales Associate

About the Role

As a Seasonal Fragrance Sales Support colleague at Macy's, you'll play a key role in creating a warm, inviting experience in the fragrance department. You'll help maintain a beautifully merchandised, fully stocked space while supporting the sales team behind the scenes and on the floor.

This role blends service and support — anticipating team needs, keeping the space shop-ready, and helping create magical moments for customers during the busiest time of year.

What You'll Do

• Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers
• Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals, top-selling items, and current promotions
• Offer a warm welcome and create personal conversations to build customer relationships
• Maintain a shoppable space: merchandise new receipts, process damages, update signs and pricing
• Finish Strong — share Loyalty program benefits and end with a sincere thank-you

Schedule

• Typically 10–20 hours per week
• Flexible availability required, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Who You Are

• Comfortable communicating with customers and colleagues
• Resourceful and adaptable; can work independently but great in team dynamics
• Enthusiastic about meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information

Physical Requirements

• Constant talking, lifting, moving, standing, and reaching
• Standing at least two consecutive hours; lifting at least 25 lbs
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, reaching above eye level
• Frequent use of computers, handheld equipment, and cash register
