Rotational Engineer, Central Technology

About the Program

Activision Central Tech is seeking hardworking programmers starting their careers to join the Central Tech Rotational Program (CTRP), an 18-month rotational engineering program that provides a breadth of skills while participants rotate across various Activision game studios and teams.

This is a rare West Coast opportunity to accelerate your career by developing groundbreaking games technology, learning next-gen consoles inside and out, and working on leading AAA game titles with top developers including Beenox, Demonware, Infinity Ward, Raven Software, Sledgehammer Games, and Treyarch.

Note: The start date for this program will be in March 2026.

Program Structure

• Three 6-month rotations
• Rotations mapped to product launches/updates, business needs, and employee interest
• Training and development opportunities, including mentorship
• Rotations can include: Game Security, Graphics, Online Services, Tools, Call of Duty Mobile
• Upon completion, successful participants will be invited to apply for a full-time position

Player Profile

• Completed basic training in C++ (there will be a test)
• Experience with network programming (TCP, UDP, security, NAT, etc.), client/server architecture
• Understanding of 3D math, vectors, matrices, quaternions and general linear algebra
• Knowledge of LUA, Python or Java is a plus

Pay & Benefits

Base Pay: $30.53–$56.48/hr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with Company match, tuition reimbursement, paid holidays, free and discounted games, and more.
