About the Role
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients on the Telemetry unit (Night Shift). Supervises and directs assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines using critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment.
What You'll Do
- Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues
- Develop and implement care plans and interventions to attain outcomes
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe, healing environment
- Provide health information to patients, families, and treatment team
- Participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
- Delegate and coordinate healthcare team duties
Requirements
- RN licensure in California: Required
- CPR/BLS certification: Required
- ACLS certification: Required
- BSN: Preferred
- Acute care facility experience: Preferred
