About the Role
Providence is calling for applications for our November 2026 RN Case Management Fellowship at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center.
An RN Fellow at Providence will experience a guided transition into their new specialty through structured curriculum, experienced preceptors and hands-on learning. If you are an RN ready to transition to a new specialty and have more than 12 months of continuous RN work experience, the Providence Clinical Academy is for you.
The RN Fellowship position starts on November 2, 2026. Positions available: Full-Time, Variable shifts.
Case Management is a collaborative practice including patients, caregivers, nurses, social workers, physicians, payers, support staff, other practitioners and the community. The process facilitates communication and care coordination along a continuum through effective transitional care management, recognizing the patient's right to self-determination, the significance of social determinants of health, and the complexities of care.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred, or equivalent education/experience. Registered Nurses without a bachelor's degree in nursing must obtain one within 3 years of hire (subject to prior agreements or collective bargaining terms; exceptions considered case-by-case)
- RNs employed prior to 8/2021 are encouraged, but not required, to obtain a bachelor's degree or higher
- Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
- Upon hire: California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization, within 30 days
- 2 years of experience in a healthcare related field (Acute, Ambulatory, Post-Acute, etc.)
- 2 years of experience in Case Management (Care Coordination or Utilization Management), or successful completion of the Transitions in Practice (TIP) program for Care Manager in the same type of nursing unit
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a healthcare related field
- Upon hire: Certification in Case Management (ACM or CCM)
