Retail Service Specialist

Overview

O'Reilly Auto Parts is hiring a Retail Service Specialist to serve both professional and do-it-yourself (DIY) customers at the store counter. This full-time role combines technical auto parts knowledge with excellent customer service.

What You'll Do

• Assist customers at the service counter with parts lookup, technical questions, and purchases
• Build relationships with professional accounts (repair shops, fleets) and DIY customers
• Process sales transactions and maintain accurate inventory records
• Perform store duties including stocking, receiving merchandise, and maintaining store cleanliness
• Support team members and assist with day-to-day store operations
• Meet store sales goals and service standards

Requirements

• Customer service or retail experience preferred
• Interest in or knowledge of automotive parts a plus
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and some holidays
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Compensation

• $17.87–$24.50/hr
