About the Role
USC Verdugo Hills Hospital (Keck Medicine of USC) in La Ccrescenta is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for 5 North Med/Surg on the night shift. Union position.
What You'll Do
- Lead patient care delivery, implementing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, care planning, intervention, evaluation)
- Support the Chief Nursing Officer in maintaining safety, recovery, and comfort of patients
- Ensure compliance with CMS, Title 22, CDPH, and DNV-GL/NIAHO standards
- Precept and competency-validate new hires
- Delegate care to RNs, LVNs, and CNAs as appropriate
- Provide patient and family education and discharge planning
Requirements
- Current California RN license
- Med/Surg or acute care experience preferred
- BLS/BCLS certification required
- Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
Pay & Schedule
$47.58–$76.68/hr · Full-time · 12-hour night shift · On-site · La Ccrescenta · Union
