Regional Account Manager – California

About the Role

Avery Dennison is seeking a Regional Account Manager to join the Label and Graphic Materials Group, Graphics organization. This role is responsible for growing revenues by achieving sales objectives with regional and national distributors, as well as driving demand for Window and Graphic Films at the converter level.

Territory: State of California. Candidates must reside in CA.

What You'll Do

• Achieve sales and profit objectives in assigned territory
• Manage a distribution channel with strong emphasis on channel excellence
• Drive demand for Avery Dennison products by calling on converters
• Provide product recommendations, samples, technical support, pricing, and service information
• Manage relationships with channel partner sales people, OEM alliances, and graphics installers
• Uncover and assess customer needs; develop value propositions
• Develop thorough understanding of market conditions and competitive landscape
• Conduct territory analysis and planning; allocate time appropriately to accounts
• Secure, negotiate, and maintain effective distribution agreements
• Execute customer marketing/growth programs

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred

Experience:

• 4–5+ years of successful sales or related experience; industry/product experience preferred

Skills:

• Excellent negotiation, financial, and business acumen skills
• Strong ability to work in a cross-functional matrix organization
• Skilled in developing sales penetration and growth strategies
• Proficient in Google G Suite and Salesforce.com

Travel: 60–70% required

Pay & Benefits

$82,650–$123,424/year base salary (commission-eligible). Final placement within range based on experience, education, and location.
