Production Planner

About the role

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Burbank is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate operations and procurement, ensuring movement of materials and resources to meet production schedules for the Brake Control Unit value stream.

What you'll do

• Draw up master schedules to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates
• Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements
• Plan and schedule workflow for each department and operation
• Confer with supervisors to determine project status; expedite delayed operations; alter schedules as needed
• Prepare production reports and purchase orders for materials, tools, and equipment

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in scheduling, supply chain, or fulfillment
• Strong working knowledge of manufacturing, production planning, and materials control
• Expert in scheduling and capacity planning tools; experience with Oracle
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, Vlookup, conditional formatting)
• BS degree required
• US Person required (ITAR compliance)

Preferred: Lean Manufacturing experience; Oracle 11i experience

Pay & benefits

Production Planner I: $35.34–$41.69/hr | Production Planner II: $86,100–$101,900/yr
