Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst

About the role

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Woodland Hills is seeking a Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst to support the Space & Strategic operating unit on SSIRU and LR-450 products. Onsite, 9/80 work schedule.

What you'll do

• Interface with program managers, functional management, cost account managers, and business managers to provide financial support and analysis
• Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work; support funding profiles, sales outlook, cash forecasting, and variance analysis
• Monitor costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control systems
• Perform WBS development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis, and visibility reports
• Support Annual Operating Plan, Resource Plan, and Long Range Strategic Plan activities
• Support audits and reviews as requested by programs, customers, and management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years' experience, or Master's with 3 years; or 9 years' applied experience in lieu of degree
• Experience with financial systems including cost performance reporting and analysis
• Strong Excel proficiency (pivot tables, Vlookup, conditional formatting)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance
• US Citizenship required

Preferred: Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business; experience with COGNOS, SAP, COBRA; Earned Value Management experience
