As a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, you'll apply pharmacy school learning to real-world practice, preparing for a Pharmacist role under your preceptor's direction through a comprehensive training roadmap.
What You'll Do
- Follow company SOPs to help pharmacists and technicians manage and improve patient health
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe, accurate prescription fulfillment
- Deliver positive patient experiences at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone
- Counsel and field medical questions under a licensed pharmacist's direct supervision
- Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers, where allowed by state regulation
- Complete basic inventory activities as permitted by law
As tenure increases, interns take on greater responsibility for pharmacy operations.
Pay
$20.10–$23.10/hour.
