Pharmacy Customer Service Associate

About the Role

Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Assists the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy, using pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and fill prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient checkout service
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, and verify medicine
• Handle telephone calls that do not require the pharmacist's personal attention
• Process manual claims for third-party prescription program services
• Assist with pharmacy inventory management

Requirements

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months of retail experience
• Good math skills for filling prescriptions accurately
• PTCB certification
