About the Role
Block LLP is seeking a Personal Injury Case Manager Assistant to support the pre-litigation team, helping cases move efficiently from intake through settlement. Ideal for someone with foundational personal injury experience eager to grow their legal career.
What You'll Do
- Assist Case Managers with pre-litigation personal injury matters
- Open and maintain insurance claims under supervision
- Request, organize, and track medical records, billing, and documentation
- Track treatment status, deadlines, and outstanding case items
- Assist with demand package preparation
- Communicate with clients regarding treatment updates and case status
- Follow up with medical providers regarding records, bills, and liens
Requirements
- 1+ year experience in a California personal injury law firm preferred
- Basic understanding of personal injury claims, medical records, and insurance
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
