Personal Banker

About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) at their branch at 8548 Van Nuys Blvd., Panorama City, CA 91402. In this frontline role, you'll build relationships with customers through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach.

What You'll Do

• Build lasting customer relationships through proactive, meaningful conversations supporting financial well-being
• Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer needs and connect them with relevant banking products and solutions
• Drive branch growth by identifying opportunities, promoting solutions, and making appropriate referrals
• Support new account openings, service requests, and credit applications
• Perform cash handling and teller line activities, accurately processing transactions while maintaining compliance
• Demonstrate comfort using and adopting digital tools to enhance the customer experience
• Collaborate with teammates to coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers or specialists

Requirements

• 6+ months of customer interaction experience (or equivalent through work, training, military, or education)
• Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
• SAFE registration required at time of employment (Wells Fargo initiates after start date)
• Not eligible for Visa sponsorship

Desired Qualifications

• Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated, customer-facing role
• Experience building trust-based customer relationships through active listening and follow-up
• Comfort initiating outreach to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities
• Demonstrated comfort with digital tools and technology

Pay & Benefits

$23–$31/hr
