Patient Access Representative

About the Role

Adventist Health Glendale is seeking a Patient Access Representative for a Part-time position with 8-hour Day shifts, onsite at the Glendale, CA location.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely and accurate patient registration
• Interviews patients for all pertinent account information
• Verifies insurance and calculates/collects patient liability amounts
• Ensures all necessary signatures are obtained for treatment
• Answers questions and explains policies clearly
• Checks for physician orders and attaches them to the appropriate patient record
• Prints and collates paperwork for distribution to the unit/department
• Escorts patients to their area or arranges an escort as needed

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent related experience: Preferred
