About the role
Part-time Paraeducator supporting Special Education programs at Burbank Unified School District. Works alongside special education teachers to provide individualized support to students with disabilities.
What you'll do
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with IEPs under teacher direction
- Assist students with academic tasks, behavioral support, and daily living skills
- Implement instructional strategies and behavioral support plans as directed by the teacher
- Assist with data collection for student progress monitoring
- Support students with physical, communication, and adaptive needs as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or 48 college units preferred
- Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
- Patience, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and physically support students as needed
Pay & benefits
$2,750.31–$3,518.13/month. Part-time BUSD position with CalPERS retirement eligibility.
