About the Role

Kaiser Permanente Panorama City is hiring an Optical Dispenser to measure patient facial features, fit and adjust eyeglass frames, and assist patients selecting optical items per their prescriptions. Onsite, call-in/on-call.

What You'll Do

• Assist members selecting frames/lenses and take eyewear orders
• Dispense, fit, and make minor repairs to eyewear and ophthalmic appliances
• Inspect finished eyeglasses for correct prescription processing
• Maintain frame displays, inventory, and department logs
• Resolve member eyewear complaints and provide product information

Requirements

• Comfort with direct patient interaction and precise measurement/fitting work
• Ability to train and support less experienced staff
