Operations Manager

About the Role

The Operations Manager leads Ulta Beauty's mission, vision, and values to develop a high-performing team that consistently delivers top-line sales growth. You'll oversee Task Associates and the Merchandise Manager, managing store operations including realignments, planograms, and inventory life cycle processes.

What You'll Do

• Drive store profitability through operational excellence, top-line sales growth, and expense control
• Leverage store forecasts and payroll budgets to maximize productivity
• Review, analyze, and react to financial and operational reporting
• Attract, hire, and retain a diverse team of top talent
• Support manager and associate development through training, coaching, and performance reviews
• Ensure execution of all operational focuses including ad set processes, planograms, and inventory management
• Protect company assets; minimize loss by ensuring all store standards and procedures are met
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of fast-paced retail management or relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Financial management skills: top-line sales, payroll budgets, expense control
• Proven operational excellence and merchandising execution
• Experience attracting, developing, and motivating top talent
• Proficient with technology; excellent communication and organizational skills

Schedule

Flexible, full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay & Benefits

$28–$35/hr plus bonus potential
