On-Demand Guest Advocate

About the Role

On-Demand Team Members create their own schedule by picking up available shifts. This role covers Guest Advocate (cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, and Style areas.

You must work at least one shift every 4 weeks (minimum 4 hours) and respond to contact attempts to remain active. Employment is administratively terminated if you go 5 months without working a shift.

What You'll Do

• Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards
• Deliver easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
• Assist guests with the Target app, loyalty programs, and fulfillment services
• Attempt returns and follow register prompts; de-escalate issues with leader support
• Support back-up cashier, OPU, Drive-up Orders, and DU Returns
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area

Requirements

• Welcoming, helpful attitude; effective communication using positive language
• Attention to detail; capability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays); prompt and reliable when scheduled
• Frequently lift or move product up to 10 lbs; occasionally up to 44 lbs
• Active engagement: pick up and work shifts; respond to contact attempts
