Nuclear Medicine Technologist Full-Time, Day Shift

About the role

Adventist Health Glendale is one of the area's leading healthcare providers — a 515-bed hospital serving the San Fernando Valley. This role administers radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases, using radioisotope equipment.

What you'll do

• Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies
• Prepare stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculate doses for radiologists
• Execute blood volume, red cell survival, and fat absorption studies
• Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation
• Document radioactive materials and surveys per departmental procedures

Requirements

• Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine — required
• Bachelor's Degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent — preferred
• State Nuclear Medicine License — required
• ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine — required
• Venipuncture certification — required
