About the Role
Delivers culturally sensitive, trauma-responsive case management for individuals and families affected by child maltreatment, domestic violence, or sexual assault at Strength United (CSUN's University Corporation). Two openings.
What You'll Do
- Provide weekly in-home services using a strengths-based approach
- Assess client needs and complete standard assessments
- Design interventions to promote child safety and caregiver capacity
- Provide in-home skills building and family case management
- Deliver parent training via the Nurturing Parenting Program
- Complete case documentation and coordinate referrals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, or Criminal Justice
- Six months of client-centered service experience
- State Certification (or willingness to complete) in Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault
- Valid California driver's license; pass criminal background clearance
Schedule & Pay
- Full-time, flexible scheduling (occasional evenings/weekends)
- $22.74-$25.15/hr
