Medical Assistant II, Facey Medical Foundation

About the role

Facey Medical Foundation is hiring Medical Assistants across the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valley, including Mission Hills, Porter Ranch, Northridge, Simi Valley, Tarzana, Burbank, Valencia, and Canyon Country.

The Medical Assistant (MA) II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to assist in providing patient care. The MA II performs all MA I duties and is fully competent in clinical needs for the assigned clinic.

What you'll do

• Assist licensed practitioners with patient care as directed
• Obtain vital signs, administer injections, and assist with medication administration
• Perform clinical functions specific to the assigned clinic/location
• Follow established policies, procedures, and regulations

Requirements

One of the following:

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with externship
• Completed medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces
• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinic setting
• 1+ year MA experience including vital signs, injections, and medication administration
