About the Role
Warner Bros. Discovery is hiring a Manager, Security for its Western region, responsible for developing and implementing security policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and personnel, and for overseeing a team of security staff.
What You'll Do
- Provide security administrative and operational support for company facilities in the Western Region & Canada
- Communicate with security staff, addressing inquiries and fostering trust and transparency
- Develop emergency response strategies with the VP and Director across a full range of scenarios
- Coordinate with Labor Relations, People and Culture, and other WBD teams on personnel issues
- Ensure adherence to established security policies; run employee security awareness briefings
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive administrative or managerial experience in a public service agency or security environment (law enforcement, security, or fire)
- Associate or Bachelor of Science degree, or 5+ years of relevant experience
- Preferred certifications: POST, BSIS, Physical Security Professional (PSP/ASIS)
