About the Role
Category Manager, Toys & Hardlines at NBCUniversal, driving growth across Infant/Preschool, Construction, and select franchise programs through licensing partnerships and retail strategy.
What You'll Do
- Manage strategic licensing partners with day-to-day account management and business planning
- Partner with licensees to develop consumer products programs aligned with brand objectives
- Negotiate licensing agreements in partnership with Legal and Finance
- Identify new business opportunities, category extensions, and product trends
- Lead marketing approval workflows for assigned categories
- Manage forecasts, budgets, and financial tracking for licensing partners
- Collaborate with retail sales to maximize placement at Target, Amazon, and other retailers
Requirements
- Experience in consumer products licensing, category management, or retail buying
- Knowledge of toy/hardlines or entertainment licensing preferred
- Strong financial acumen and project management skills

$90,000–$125,000/yr
