Lead Patient Admissions Coordinator

About the Role

Providence St. Joseph Medical Center (Burbank) is seeking a Lead Patient Admissions Coordinator. Full-time, Evening shifts.

Registers patients for inpatient and outpatient services and assists the Patient Registration Supervisor in day-to-day department operations.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to secure demographic and financial information
• Prepare documents for signature; assign rooms and direct patients to appropriate service areas
• Assign work, schedule employees, and train new staff
• Ensure adequate coverage for employee meal breaks
• Assist supervisor in department's day-to-day functions

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in hospital Admitting/Patient Registration

Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree
• Supervisory experience
