IT Project Manager II

Overview

Under limited supervision, the IT Project Manager II leads and ensures the successful delivery and management of moderately complex, single or multiple technical projects within scope, quality, time and cost constraints.

Responsibilities

• Manages, tracks and coordinates multiple moderately complex projects
• Identifies and plans project deliverables, milestones, and required activities
• Reviews project status and modifies schedules or plans; prepares reports for stakeholders and senior executives
• Establishes team membership and resource allocation with PMO and key stakeholders
• Develops strong partnerships with IT/engineering, architecture, business/product managers, and data/analytics leaders
• Identifies key issues and problems; creates solutions and designs processes
• Conducts risk assessment and mitigation for assigned projects
• Monitors project activities ensuring currency, quality and integrity of information
• Assigns duties and responsibilities to project team; follows up and monitors action items
• Implements project communication plan
• Ensures project goals are on schedule and within budget
• Motivates team members and facilitates team meetings

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Organizational Development, IT or equivalent
• Experience: 2–4 years managing projects or workstreams
• Experience applying SDLC standards to project planning
• Experience leading cross-functional teams
• Understanding of complex IT infrastructure
• Project manager training and certification preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project planning tools

Pay & Benefits

• Pay Range: $85,007–$127,510/yr
• Schedule: Hybrid
