About the Role

The Insurance Verifier at Providence Tarzana Medical Center secures appropriate patient account reimbursement by obtaining demographic, insurance, and medical information, and identifying services requiring authorization and referral.

Requirements

• California Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days of hire
• 1 year of experience in customer service or healthcare registration
• Clerical and computer experience
• Experience with regulatory compliance (Medicare Secondary Payer, EMTALA, ABN)

Preferred: College coursework, medical terminology/Medical Assistant course, CHAA, prior registrar/verification experience
