About the Role
CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern (Grad Pharmacist) to apply didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice in preparation for a full Pharmacist role. You'll complete a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap covering store operations, patient safety, quality assurance, and pharmacy professional standards.
What You'll Do
- Support pharmacy operations and ensure prescriptions are filled promptly and safely
- Apply learning in patient safety, error prevention, and quality assurance drug utilization review (DUR)
- Develop knowledge of pharmacy professional standards including corresponding responsibility and red flag detection
- Work under the direction of a preceptor and District Leader
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Pharmacy degree (PharmD) from an accredited program
- Must have graduated from pharmacy school
- Pharmacy Intern license in California required
