About The Role
Glendale Community College is seeking a substitute Financial Aid Technician to assist students with financial aid processes and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist students with completing financial aid applications and required documents
- Process and verify financial aid records in compliance with federal, state, and college policies
- Counsel students on financial aid eligibility, awards, and appeals
- Maintain accurate financial aid files and databases
- Respond to student inquiries in person, by phone, and via email
Qualifications
- Experience in financial aid, student services, or higher education administration preferred
- Knowledge of federal/state financial aid regulations (Title IV) a plus
- Strong customer service and organizational skills
