Finance Transformation Manager (Project Hire)

About this role

This project hire (through April 1, 2028) leads the strategy, design, and implementation of enterprise Finance data capabilities at The Walt Disney Company, based in Burbank. The role sits at the intersection of data strategy, product ownership, technical delivery, and Finance process transformation.

What you'll do

• Lead the implementation roadmap for the Finance Data Layer – a scalable data lakehouse for EPM, BI, and AI/ML
• Translate Finance planning, forecasting, and reporting needs into technical requirements and user stories
• Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and engineers to deliver governed, analytics-ready data solutions
• Define and manage platform priorities, balancing business value, timelines, and technical debt
• Communicate complex data concepts to executive, business, and technical audiences

Requirements

• 5+ years in enterprise data strategy, data platform delivery, or Finance Transformation
• Strong understanding of cloud data architecture, data lakehouse patterns, and modern data stack concepts
• Knowledge of Finance processes: planning, forecasting, reporting, performance management
• Strong project/delivery leadership and stakeholder alignment skills
• Preferred: Snowflare, Databricks, SAP, Oracle EPM, Tableau, Power BI, Python

Pay & benefits

• Salary: $139,200–$170,000/year (Burbank, CA)
